“Make Sure the Change Happens!”
Asociatia Tineret si Dezvoltare Regionala deruleaza in perioada martie 03 -11 aprilie 2008 proiectul “Make Sure the Change Happens!” care reuneste 27 de tineri din 10 tari: Romania, Polonia, Ucraina, Israel, Franta, Armenia, Macedonia, Spania, Portugalia, Suedia.Proiectul are ca tema lupta impotriva discriminarii cu sprijinul mass-mediei ca voce a generatiei tinere. Pe parcursul proiectului tinerii au prezentat situatia discriminarii in tarile lor, incercand in acelasi timp sa gaseasca puncte comune in lupta impotriva discriminarii.
Unul din momentele deosebite ale activitatilor a fost vizita la Facultatea de Drept a Universitatii Constantin Brancusi unde dl prof. Nicolae Branzan s-a intretinut cu participantii, impartasindu-le experinte legate de subiectul proiectului: discriminarea.
Activitatile s-au desfasurat atat in Targu Jiu cat si la Tismana, pe parcursul manifestarilor tinerii avand deasemenea posibilitatea sa viziteze unele obiective turistice din judetul nostru cum ar fi: Ansablul sculptural din Targu-Jiu, Pestera Muierii, Manastirea Tismana.

Detalii proiect:
“Make Sure the Change Happens!”is an international training having as topic discrimination, but more than that how can we “fight” against discrimination using as tool mass-media. The aim of this project is to raise awareness of discrimination involving as an important ally the media at local/national or even international level.
The participants gained general and specific information about discrimination and fight against it on many aspects from different countries. They will be trained by media experts how to use media in this field and through discussions, workshops, they will get useful knowledge and experience how to use it in practice.
The project created multiplier effects such as usage of media generally, development of public relation, creating of new co-operation and partnerships, the inclusion of young people with less opportunities into these kind of programmes (ex: youngsters from Motru region and roma community), to improve the skills, qualifications and personal development of the participants, to search for the innovative character of youth working methods, themes and target groups.
